Make a choice and live with the ending.
The play loop
- Hook. The opening establishes the place, immediate pressure, and what is at stake.
- Start. Enter the first cinematic beat and advance through the scene.
- Choose. A meaningful choice changes the route state and what follows.
- Middle pressure. The selected route can carry different media, lines, or consequences.
- Commit. Later choices narrow the available outcomes.
- Ending. An ending screen reveals the consequence. You can share the ending tag, replay the last choice, or continue to the next episode.
Interaction primitives
- Tap. Advance to the next panel inside a beat.
- Hold. QTE pressure — keep the prop steady or the moment slips.
- Swipe. Commit a directional choice when the option grid appears.
- Rapid-tap. Build a meter under time pressure for action shorts.
What replay value looks like
Because the same premise can end differently, replaying another route can reveal a different scene, consequence, or ending.
